Online Booking System
Nebula's online booking system allows your clients to book appointments 24/7 through your personalized profile that you can share on your website or social media. Your appointments can fill up even while you sleep.
In many dietitian software products, online booking is an extra-cost feature or reserved for higher-tier plans. With Nebula, the online booking system is included in all plans.
Public Business Profile
Nebula provides you with a public profile page (hellonebula.net/p/your-business-name). This page is indexed by Google and other search engines, making it easier for potential clients to find you.
Your profile displays:
- Business name, logo, and description
- Areas of expertise and certifications
- Working hours and locations
- Detailed team member profiles
- Online booking button
- Contact and social media links
Availability Calendar
Clients can view your real-time availability through your public profile. Your weekly schedule and exception days (holidays, time off) are automatically reflected.
- Set your work schedule from business settings
- Configure start and end times for each day
- Add holidays and days off as schedule exceptions
- Set your preferences for online or in-person appointments
- Publish your profile - clients can start booking immediately
Client Booking Process
When a client wants to book an online appointment, they follow these steps:
- Visit your public profile
- Select a consultant (in clinic settings)
- Choose an available date and time
- Pick in-person or online
- Enter their basic information
- Confirm the appointment
Once confirmed, an email notification is sent to both you and the client. For online appointments the meeting link is delivered automatically. The booking appears in your Nebula calendar instantly.
First Consultation Fee and Duration
Each consultant can configure first-consultation preferences on the public profile. These settings set clear expectations during the booking flow.
First Consultation Fee has three options:
- Free: The first consultation is offered at no cost
- Paid (price shown): The price is shown openly on the profile
- Paid (price hidden): The first consultation is paid, but the price is not displayed on the profile (shared on request)
First Appointment Duration: Choose from 20, 30, 45, 60, 90, or 120 minutes. First consultations typically run longer than follow-up sessions, so this is a separate setting.
Public Profile Visibility
You control how your public profile is presented from business settings. There are three core toggles:
- Allow Online Booking: When on, clients can book from the profile; when off, the booking button is hidden (the profile stays visible)
- Show/Hide Consultant Profiles: In a clinic setup, show every consultant's detailed profile to visitors or only show the business
- Publish/Unpublish Public Profile: A master toggle to take the profile offline or live
Each consultant can also flip "Visible on Public Profile" in their own profile settings — even if the business is live, an individual can opt out of being shown.
